It seems that there is tremendous interest in the possibility that Karl Rove is an atheist. The recent post in which I quoted Christopher Hitchens, author of God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything
Read More..., as saying that Rove "is not a believer" generated more hits than any other post in the history of Atheist Revolution. In this post, I'll consider other evidence that confirms Hitchens' statement and discuss the implications of Rove's atheism.
I left a comment over at Vjack's blog. "I just love the irony of the whole think. Rove an atheist, I laugh every time I say it. The evangelicals will go crazy if this hits the mainstream press." - I think shitstorm is a more accurate response, Evangelicals like Dobson will go nuts.

Thanks for the link and the comment. You hit the reason I want so badly for this to get picked up by the mainstream media - it will drive Christians crazy (maybe even crazier than they already are).
