Do you believe in Evolution?

I don't know what to say... wait, now I have it. There is no way in hell I will vote for a Republican candidate who does not believe in the Theory of Evolution. Three candidates publicly proclaimed they did not believe in evolution in the first Republican debate held Friday night. Sen. Sam Brownback, Gov. Mike Huckabee, and Rep. Tom Tancredo - you can all quit now, your political careers are over (or at least your presidential aspirations are over).

Watch for yourself:

Huckabee offered up a few campaign coffin nails by proclaiming himself a bible thumping fundamentalist in a follow-up interview. He accepts the biblical view of creation on faith, because the bible says so. Screw science.

Fundie Quote: Mike Huckabee

" I'm not sure what in the world that [Believing in evolution] has to do with being president of the United States."

Just say NO to fundamentalism. Just say no to Mike Huckabee, Sam Brownback, and Tom Tancredo.

I would like to think that this ended their careers too, but I'm not so sure. http://tinyurl.com/2g299m

Tina, Ken Miller, the scientist who pretty much single handedly crushed ID in the Dover trials is a Catholic. So the answer is yes, but you really really really have to believe in an allegorical bible.

Evolutionists BUILD us a living cell.

If evolutionists want to end the arguments all they need do is, get their brilliant heads together and assemble a 'simple' living cell. This should be possible, because today they certainly have a very great amount of knowledge about the contents of the so-called 'simple' cell.

After all, shouldn't all the combined Intelligence of all the worlds scientist be able the do what chance encounters with random chemicals, without a set of instructions, accomplished about 4 billion years ago, 'according to the evolutionists,' and having no intelligence at all available to help them along in their quest to become a living entity. Surely the evolutionists scientists of today should be able to make us a 'simple' cell.

If it weren't so pitiful it would be humorous, that intelligent people have swallowed the evolution mythology.

Beyond doubt, the main reason people believe in evolution is that sources they admire, say it is so. It would pay for these people to do a thorough examination of all the evidence CONTRARY to evolution that is readily available: Try answersingenesis.org. The evolutionists should honestly examine the SUPPOSED evidence 'FOR' evolution for THEMSELVES.

Build us a cell, from scratch, with the required raw material, that is with NO cell material, just the 'raw' stuff, and the argument is over. But if the scientists are unsuccessful, perhaps they should try Mother Earth's recipe, you know, the one they claim worked the first time about 4 billion years ago, so they say. All they need to do is to gather all the chemicals that we know are essential for life, pour them into a large clay pot and stir vigorously for a few billion years, and Walla, LIFE!

Oh, you don't believe the 'original' Mother Earth recipe will work? You are NOT alone, Neither do I, and MILLIONS of others!

What the hell is an evolutionist? Wait, wait, I know – a fundie term for a professional scientist who works to help develop and refine the Theory of Evolution. How stupid is that? They use the term evolutionist as a pejorative.

What do they offer us – a faith based alternative. How stupid is that? VERY Stupid.

I say why is that stupid? Evolution in based on faith to.

Evolution is also faith based. Science is a neutral tool in which a person inserts a presupposition/bias. Evolution happens to insert naturalism/atheism, and creation- Christianity/Judaism.

Intelligent Design is just open to supernatural involvement period, instead of locking everything into a naturalistic/physical box.

Even "professionals" are biased. To be biased is to be human. You have to start with a presupposition.

"Evolutionists BUILD us a living cell."

If creationism is true, why can't a creationist PRAY a living cell into existence, ex-nihilo? I guess a meteorologists inability to create the weather proves that meteorology isn't science.

"If evolutionists want to end the arguments all they need do is, get their brilliant heads together and assemble a 'simple' living cell. This should be possible, because today they certainly have a very great amount of knowledge about the contents of the so-called 'simple' cell."

What happens when they do? Will you change your mind? Does the fact they can't do it prove god must have? If scientist have an incomplete understanding of "simple cells " and can't create them, does Jehovah win by default? The reason I don't believe in creationism is that all know evidence supports the evolutionary view. Tell you what, when Ken Hamm demonstrates an observable universe thats' just 10,000 light years across, I'll start to believe in Young earth creationism!
