Chronicles of Hypocrisy #1

Hypocrisy… There are so many cases. It is hard to keep track. Chronicles of Hypocrisy will attempt to gather up cases as they make the news.

Youth pastor Samuel Allen Nuckolls, convicted and now serving a 10-year sentence for filming women while they took showers, is now appealing his conviction to the Mississippi Supreme Court. I don’t think he will be successful. See more on his original case here.

Baptist pastor Larry Jones, is seeking to have his child porn case dismissed on first amendment grounds. He was arrested for writing a story detailing his sexual fantasies about underage members of his church. Jones is the pastor at Missionary Baptist Church in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Baptist pastor Mack Allen Davis was sentenced for sex crimes against children. His victims were members of his youth group. The abuse took place over his 30 year career.

Rev. Lynda-Lee Aikiema Gonsalves-Barnes was arrested on charges of swindling Medicaid out of $94k. She ran an interesting scam. She allegedly setup a church called Omega Alpha Nu Ministries, then open clinic, then created a fictional therapist, and then started billing for imaginary therapy session. She operated in Kissimmee, Florida.

Pastor Jules Anderson was arrested and accused on indecent behavior with a juvenile. Anderson is the former pastor of Israelite Divine Spiritual Church of Christ II in Four Corners. Louisiana.

Pastor Rudolph Walls, a registered sex offender, was arrested for sexual misconduct with two minors. Walls is the pastor at Friendly Chapel in Dillion, South Carolina.

Pastor Darrell Ranel was arrested for allegedly raping a 11-year-old girl. Ravel is the pastor at Black Creek African Methodist Episcopal Church of Darlington, Louisiana.

Pastor William Jackson McCullers was arrested on 10 counts of lewd and lascivious acts on four different children. McCullers assisted at Tabernacle of Praise Church in Chipley, Florida.

Former pastor Timothy Bariteau was convicted of having sexual contact with a child under the age of 16. He will serve 15 years in prison. Bariteau was the pastor at Morningside Community Church in Brookings, South Dakota.

Updated July 12 to include more information about the Nuckolls case.
