Update on the Pastor Roy Harriger case

Pastor Roy Harriger, profiled here, was indicted by the grand jury for allegedly molesting three children and not the two children as originally reported.

There were many more alleged victims, at least 15 people signed affidavits claiming that Harriger molested them, but the statute of limitations excluded most allegations.

I realize we all need to be politically correct in our verbage, but if you spoke to any of his victims to hear their story you would immediately realize how genuine they are, and the word "alleged" really doesn't fit the circumstances these precious people went through. This case snow-balled because as one person came forward with their own story, others realized they were not the only ones. They were told no one would believe them over the word of a pastor. I completely understand the notion of "innocent until proven guilty", and the pastor will have his days in court. His defense so far has been "they're all lying". Really? All of them, across three different states, across a range of ages, both genders...every one conspired? To what gain? These victims have exposed themselves to public scrutiny for what benefit? I hope everyone will look at these victims as just that...people who are doing their best to stop this type of abuse by sharing their stories. If it helps even one person, they made a difference.

I would love to just say he did it, but I can be sued, so I use alleged. I have no doubts in this case. None at all.
I can not say, I can only say that my ex husband told a lie and then lined up his friends to lie. Yes, people tell lies. I honestly tell you he lied and yes they all will pay the price for their lies.He (ex-husband) has paid. God stated revenge is his. So if they are not telling the truth they better think twice. .If they are telling the truth May God have full revenge on Pastor. I loved this man, i NEVER saw any behavior that would of made me feel like he was acting in a wrong way. I was molested as a child and I watched for things that would tell because of what happen to me. I did not Ever pick up on anything. I was around the house and his children. Can say he was always appeared to be a perfect parent.

I know there are more than one Teresas in the world...but is this the Teresa that was on the news describing how Her son reacted when you questioned him about his Grandfather???
People have the right to their own opinion for sure, but have you spoken to any of his victims? I would ask that you look any of them in the eyes and hear them tell their experiences before you pass judgment on them as "liars". Also, I am truly sorry for your personal experience as a child. Although, from that experience, don't you think that appearances can be deceiving from a predator?
