I don’t normally post about clergy sexual abuse accusations before an arrest, but I am considering revising my policy. New accusations against Catholic priests occure almost every week. This one is typical. I call them purges.
Rev. Louis Bonnacci, formerly of Loyola University in Maryland, stands accused of molesting a minor from 1978 to 1982. A second victim has also come forward.
During an investigation by the Maryland Province Review Board, a second victim alleged similar sexual contact as a minor with Bonacci in Howard County, Gibbs said. The board reported the allegation to county police but was told that a police investigation could not be opened until at least one of the victims comes forward, she said.
So victims – come forward already.
