More bad news for pastor Chuck Phelps

About a year ago I wrote a post about Pastor Chuck Phelps. He forced a 15-year-old rape victim to stand before her church and apologize for becoming pregnant. Her rapist was a church deacon. He then exiled the girl to another state so she could produce a baby for adoption. Phelps is the very worst example of a hypocrite. But it gets worse. He allegedly did something similar to another girl who was being molested by her stepfather.

"I would tell him, `no,' `stop' — and he wouldn't stop," she said of her stepfather. "I went straight to my mother when it happened. She acted like it was my fault. When my mom didn't do anything about it I went to Pastor Phelps. He told me I need to forgive and forget about it."

Actually, the guy that was convicted of raping Tina was a guy she babysat for, not a church deacon.

Still the church should have notified the police instead of the cover up,and terrible treatment of the victim .

Yes, the church, the pastor, the secretary, the family, anyone who knew should have notified the police.
