Prosecutors have dropped charges that Pastor Martin Richter molested a child. The original charges were horrific:
…he faces felony charges of child molestation, continuous sexual abuse of a child, oral copulation, and penetration with a foreign object.
Prosecutors dropped the charges due to insufficient evidence but left open the possibility of future prosecution.
"That's always a possibility," explained Deputy District Attorney Denise Dvorak. "It's a serious case involving felony charges. It can be refiled if additional information comes to light."
