Pastor Martin Richter arrested

Looking a little red-faced in his arrest photo, Pastor Martin Steven Richter was arrested for child molestation.

…he faces felony charges of child molestation, continuous sexual abuse of a child, oral copulation, and penetration with a foreign object.

Richter lives in Big Bear, which is a SoCal resort skiing area in our local mountains. The news does not mention his church. I’m sure that will make the press soon.

Update: Charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. (10/4/2010)

Why does it seem that you are posting more and more of these types of stories? Is it because the parents and cops have finally started waking up or is it still just the effect of the internet?

You know, I think it is a combination of factors. I watch more closely, there is better reportage, and a tenancy toward less tolerance.

I suspect that it is mostly you paying closer attention, but it is nice to think that the reporting might actually be improving.

Maybe you should have all the facts before you report shit like this. Mr. Richters face is red because of the abuse from the cops in that place. think people, he is innocent until convicted in a court of so called law. I know several men who have been accused of this kind of crap by there EX wives...... yes there is an bitch ex wife involved all the time. think about it before you react or judge......
