Pastor Timothy Jackson charged

I’ve been watching for Pastor Timothy Jackson to be charged with a crime since the allegations of sexual abuse surfaced on August 11, 2010. I’m interested because someone burned the church down after the allegations surfaced, my bullshit detected started flashing bright red. I knew the good pastor would be arrested soon. He’s accused of molesting a 13-year-old girl.

Timothy Jackson, 46, faces six counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct for his alleged activities with a 13-year-old girl…

…The alleged incidents occurred between 2009 and 2010 at Abundant Life Church, 437 Livernois in southwest Detroit, according to a statement issued today by Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy.

This attacks are a lie!!! Someone needs to look at this girl and her families history of lying!!! The truth will come out and all will see that Mr. Jackson IS a man of God!! As stated the truth will be revealed this girl suffers from a mental illness was actually molested by her stepfather but of course how often have we seen victims blame others to cover the abuse in the home as an outcry. for those who know this family knows wat type of people they r n wat they have done in their own past. which is y this is unbelievable . Not to say this girl isn't a victim nor tht no man is capable of sin although for those who know the truth knows much more was exposed over the years tht this girl her mother and numerous other family members have done .. Shes a product of her environment!

I know this man, personally. He hails from one of the most wonderful family groups I have ever known. Though I have not been in contact with him for many years, as he is devoutly religous and I am not, I still find it difficult to believe he would involve himself in this kind of behavior. I am certain that if these allegations have merit he will face justice, I am hopeful that these allegations are untrue. Not because I think his position is beyond reproach, but because the person I grew up with and the family that raised him and made such a positive influence on my life would be so misrepresented by such a heinous act.

I was a former member of the church and thought he was truely a man of God until it happened to my daughter. After confronting him about it he would not even face me, and my family was eventually disbanned from his church. It caused a lot of problems in my family and our faith was weakened from what he did. I put it all in Gods hand and knew that he would bring it to the light, and years later I feel that I'm stilling going through it again with someone else's child. God knows all; sees all and justice will be served.

In regards to Abundent Life Apostoic Church, Pastor Timothy Jackson is not the first pastor at that church that has been under fire for sexual abuse accusations. A few years ago, Pastor Norman Dukes was involved with numerous young women in the church. After reporting to church officials rather than deal with the legal system he was moved to a different church out of state. He was eventually moved to a church where the same inappropriate behavior with the young women in (and out of) the church followed him. He counseled a young couple to the point of break-up because of his affair with the wife. Women in the church were physically fighting over him. There was even a fight in church during service. The pastor's wife left the church and joined another church. His son and family left the church, moved out of state and joined another church. The pastor was finally out of the church and joined another church. Oh, he and Pastor Jackson were friends. Maybe the fire was a good thing at Abundant Life A.O.H. Church, hopefully it destroyed the spirit of adultry and pedophilia left behind by it's predecessor(s).

Are you aware of what ever happened with the charges against Pastor Jackson? I have not been able to find an update.

Everybody need to stop it. He without sin cast the first stone. So that mean every stone will be left in your hand. Cause we all have sinned. But because we argue as people that love God. spreading gossip stories and we call ourselves christian. No wonder the world dont and cant be saved if they look at us. The only way our land will be healed is if we humble ourselves and pray. God has the final say over everything. Its sad to see so many on here giving the enemy authority to use the people of God. Repent everyone and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for your remissions of sins.

wow!!!!! I am a bit surprised at all the comment, I will not hide from who I am, and I thank God for it. woe unto those who slander God's true people!!!! Have nothing foul nor nasty to say!!!! Justice will never be served.... Every one is screwed in this situation. Blessed is my Family and Blessed will my Family be... its amazing to me how people just dont want to except the truth about this whole story and move on with their lives cus truth be told peoples lives have change forever because of one person being so selfish and only thinking about himself and no one else its so sad to see what took place but the only ones know what really happen was who was there when it all started
