Pastor Randy Scott arrested

Apparently Pastor Scott like to coerce blow jobs from men he lured to his home with promises of underage sex. A honey trap of sorts.

Fifty-one-year-old Randy Scott, the pastor of Bryan's Bethel Temple Assembly of God was arrested here in Houston in connection with what is being portrayed in court documents as an extremely bizarre scheme….

…Scott allegedly told the man he was the boy's step-father and was very protective and then reportedly offered Doe a deal: he could let him come inside, and then Doe could whip it out and let Scott suck him off, or Scott would report him for trolling the 'net for minors.

Bizarre, no? Those pastors are a sneaky bunch.

How did I miss this earlier? It is bizarre, because the Assemblies of God is a Pentecostal fellowship. Its pastors are supposed to be "filled with the Spirit." And, of course, we know Spirit-filled people would never do this kind of thing. ;-)

I hope you don't mind me posting a comment. I know this post was some time ago... but would like to comment about this. I know this Pastor. I went to Bethel Temple. He baptized one of my children. While this is/was, terrible news... it in no way reflecs the rest of Christianity. Pastors are human too, and they sometimes fall when they get involved in sin. Does this mean he can't be forgiven? Absolutely not! Otherwise... there would be no hope for the rest of us who have sinned. This is why Jesus had to die on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice once and for all. Pastor Randy can be forgiven... I just don't think he should be presiding over a congregation anymore. And by the way... he was one of the most soft spoken, and kind individuals I have ever met. I will always remember him that way.
