Pastor Harry Vester Jones is ordered to court on March 31. Jones has entered a plea of not guilty.
"The pastor of New Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Calera facing a first-degree rape charge has been ordered to next appear in court on March 31 after a hearing this week.
Harry Vester Jones, 50, who lists an address on Miami Place in Birmingham in court records, had been scheduled for a status hearing in Shelby County Circuit Court in Columbiana on Monday morning. Judge Dan Reeves today issued an order that continues Jones' case until his next status hearing on March 31."
