Pastor Larry Bollinger sentenced

Pastor Larry Bollinger was sentenced to 25 years in prison for molesting two 11-year-old girls while visiting Haiti. There were other victims. Bollinger will likely die in prison.
Bollinger has been in jail since he was arrested a year and a half ago, and it was almost a year ago that he pleaded guilty to the charges of molesting 11-year-old girls in Haiti.
In court Friday he told the judge that he is a sex addict and that his problems began when he became too interested in pornography while he was a pastor at several different churches in the U.S.
He described in detail how he had patronized adult bookstores and prostitutes one place after the other. He said that two years after he moved to Haiti 11-year-old girls made themselves available and he took advantage of them.

Bollinger was a Lutheran attending Holy Trinity Lutheran church and working for Hope House, which provided food, shelter and schooling for Haitian children. He was arrested in 2012 and pleaded guilty in January of 2013.
The US Justice Department said that Bollinger admitted that from about August 2009 to October 2009, he sexually molested four Haitian females, between the ages of 11 and 16. One of the victims said that Bollinger offered to give her food and money in exchange for sexual acts.
So this Christian turned a little orphan girl into a prostitute at age 11? I’m speechless.

I’ll call this case a solid victory for Project Safe Childhood.
