Pastor Dale Richardson, profiled here, was granted bail after sitting in jail awaiting trial since his arrest in 2011. I think this is a bad idea. His alleged crimes are violent and involve kidnapping and rape.
Bond was set at $250,000 for a former pastor who is accused of kidnapping four women and raping three of them.
A Circuit Court judge set bail on Wednesday for Dale Richardson who investigators say offered the victims rides then kidnapped them at gunpoint before raping them. Richardson's attorneys from Savage Law Firm had filed for bond in late March.
No amount of monitoring justifies the risk he represents to his community.
