Youth pastor Jerrod McCabe guilty

Youth pastor Jerrod Don McCabe pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor and was sentenced to a whopping six to 17 months of probation. It was North Carolina. I think the rules are little different there, but not as bad a those in Texas. It’s a southern thing. 

McCabe’s crime did not involve molesting children. He was into child porn. It was found on his church PC.

McCabe was a youth director at the Raleigh Chinese Christian Church. I hope the church keeps an eye on him. He’s likely to be “Restored” at some point.

I actually know Jerrod and went to hig school with him. Every one of us that have known him for years and yeras are appallaed and shocked. None of us ever thought that he would be that kind of a person. It is something that has taken alll of us by complete surprise. It is disgusting and we all hope and pray that looking was all he has done. He should be imprisoned and n ot given probation. That is beyond ridiclous that probation is what he got.
