Youth Pastor Demetrius Allen arrested

Youth pastor Demetrius Darnell Allen was charged with 10 counts of lewd acts on a child and other offenses. This Baptist youth pastor allegedly had a 14 month sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.

Allen, 26, is the youth pastor at First Baptist Church in Venice, Ca. There is little other news on this story besides the press release. From what I can tell, the church does not have a website.

A 14 year old child grew up to fast ,and was defiled by this Christian Youth Pastor ! The term Youth Pastor seems to have become a Church buzz word for Rapist / Child Molester !

Yeah she is probably 15 now, hell about to turn 16 more then likely. !4 months ago I bet she was 14 unless she has some how gained the power to not age. What does her being innocent have to do with her being raped by a 26 year old person? Are you saying it is her own fault that she was having sex with an adult? You are talking about an adult who has been placed in a position that is meant to be used to guide people to a good life but what does he do with it? Let me repeat this...a child under the legal age of consent cannot consent to sexual activity. Period. If an adult has sexual contact with a child, it is a crime. There's no difference between what this guy did and child-raping polygamist Warren Jeffs did, except that Jeffs is now convicted of his crimes and serving his term and this guy's guilt or innocence still needs to be judged by the trier of fact.

And every time they always shout " Innocent until proven guilty." While that is always the case. 98% of the time if you have been reading Mojoey's post these men turn out to be found guilty ! there are still 2% that AREN'T guilty, this girl is NOT a child, people are so quick to point fingers without thinking the possible situations through, your right, me personally, i will NEVER apologize, i KNOW she is wrong, and i KNOW she is no type of VICTIM. If that qualifies me as a "sick fuck" than so be it.

How exactly is she "not a child"? She was 14 when this took place and is probably closer to 16 now. That is still under the age of 18. That is legally considered a minor.

lets deal with the real problem, and that is the spirit of perversion! That spirit has over taken the ministry, fully. Minister Allan, who I know, is still a child of God has to deal with his own struggle, but none of us can judge or determine the relationship that happen between them. We should be praying, caz this make the church, and Christians look bad period.

We cant take it out on each other but we should pray for all parties involved.

Right is right and wrong is wrong. We as adults should be teaching our youth to stay pure and Holy. I am sorry he is being called a Youth Pastor, than he should act like one. and fight your temptaiton, (u have a wife) now, you might be right she could have been a fast tail girl however, that does not mean that the PASTOR should have gotten in the tail. and thats goes for a YOUNG or OLD TAIL. We have to pray for these things. and we pray that he repent. You are right it makes Christians Look bad. *the question Why come to Christ when the Christians are doing the same as the WORLD..

I THINK ITS AWFUL HOW SOCIETY IS QUICK TO JUDGE A PERSON. FOR MINISTER ALLAN AND THIS YOUNG GIRL. I KNOW HIM PERSONALLY AND HE DONT SEEM LIKE THAT TYPE, BUT THE DEVIL COMES IN ALL SHAPES, SIZES AND COLORS.I FEEL BAD FOR BOTH SIDES OF THE SPECTRUM HERE.

i completly agree with the previous post about us praying instead of judging. those without sin should cast the first stone. yes he shouldve resisted the temptation and not have sex with this girl that is young by age, we still dont know with this girl looks. fifteen year old dont appear to be the normal fifteen year old anymore. this was not rape, the legal definition to rape is any forcibly or unwanted penetraton to the vagina. clearly the girl didnt press charges because she was involved with this man, they had a relationship. it does give christians a bad name and it is sad that it had to happen this way, but instead of passing judgement against this man lets encourage him to repent and hopefully find his way back, because the devil does comes in all shapes and sizes like someone mentioned earliar. we can judge but we never know how we will act once we get into some situation like this.
