Pastor Evans Bacon released from jail

Pastor Evans Bacon was released from jail this week after serving time for molesting a 15-year-old girl. He served less than a year in prison. Is this justice? I’m sure he will be back at the helm of New Life Tabernacle Church before the week is out. Mothers, be sure to watch your daughters. A wolf is lose among the shepel.

This man actually hurt somebody. His crime is real. He deserves to spend real time in prison. A year is not a prison sentence. It’s a wait at the DMV. Bacon got a year for molesting a girl, yet Roy Brown got 15 years for stealing $100. How does that work? Is money more important than people?

He spent 8 months of a 12 month sentence in the Pinellas County Jail. He never went to prison just county jail. He's wife and faithful church members kept with the help of tithes money $100.00 a week in his account at the Pinellas County Jail for for his commissary during his 8 month stay. The address listed on the sexual offenders website states he's living in a hotel. I think this must be because his house is across the street from a high school in Sanford. I bet he doesnt stay at the hotel but at his house and just pays for the room to list as the address.

Wow. A year (or rather, 8 months) is nowhere near the amount of time he deserves to be serving. Sexual molestation scars a child for life, and no amount of money or jail time can take those actions back. You have to truly be a sick and twisted individual to think that doing that to a child is even remotely acceptable. You just traded that child's emotional health and well-being for what? An hour? A few minutes? And yet, I'm sure he has plenty of supporters from his church. What a bunch of weak-minded individuals those people must be.

Lets not forget the flyer states he is on supervised probation for 5yrs. He will mess up during these five years...and by the way he aint traveling to st.pete. one of your present members stated that and he is wearing a ankle bracelet. No traveling for you MISTER Yeah members still talking..some are there to watch and tell......

@truthtruth Supervised probation does not mean he has to wear an ankle bracelet. There are different types of "monitoring" many ppl on house arrest do not have to wear a tracking devise. They are monitored through random visits from their probation officer. Same with some sex offenders some are some are not. I'm not sure which one Bacon has. And where did one of his members state he had an ankle bracelet on because I must have missed that one. Let's say he does mess up what will his punishment be? Doing 4 months to compete his one year sentence? smh....

@truthtruth um yea ..all information that can be publicly published about a sex offender is a great tool to better prevent other children from becoming victims so yea it sorta is a "must know" You sorta seem to have a bit of an attitude... which is now uncommon for many New life's ex and current members...it was something about the mentality of that church that still affects ppl today
