Pastor Evans Bacon convicted

Self-appointed Bishop Evans Bacon was convicted of sexual battery and the promoting sexual performance of a child. He pleaded guilty.

Bishop Evans Bacon, 60, of New Life Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 342 11th St. N, was sentenced to 364 days in the Pinellas County jail and five years of probation. He will be required to register as a sexual offender. Bacon, whose address is 1019 S Persimmon Ave., Sanford, cannot have unsupervised contact with minors or contact with the victim or her family.

I’m sure the family business can wait a year. New Life Tabernacle Church will get its bishop back after just a year in jail. He molested a 15-year-old girl and gets a slap on the wrist. Is this justice?

342 days?! That's not even a whole fucking year! He should get at least 10 years. Apparently the only proper justice is not served by the judges and courts, the world needs some vigilantes to dispose of monsters like him.

No, it is not justice.....he need to be with the big boys in prison,so they can violate and rape him.......that might just happen, because it is plenty more young girls out there who haven't spoke up.....and to the parents who their children have told you about this monster and you did nothing,,,,,,SHAME ON YOU! dam''imma member of the church and i feel like this the man who prayed demons out of me and some days i stood at the alter and couldnt cry the lord knows when its time for the truth to be told the church members started leaveing the pool pit empty the row of seats filled with nothing but kids the decons and sisters dissapered the only time you;ll see people is during holidays the church towar apart slowly then quickly close to his court date

If you know somebody who been targeted by this monster......talk to that person have then come forward.....and tell the authorites.....he is locked up now don't be afraid..what can he do to you....you are tormented in your mind and everyday living. it don't get any better until you talk to somebody.....PLEASE monsters like this deserves more than a year in the county jail.......God got you on this one....shame the DEVIL and tell the truth.

Mr. Bacon's signature is on it, he plead guilty!!! Mr. Bacon had a very good attorney who was begging for a plea agreement from the jump so what's that tell you? Yes yes yes they had evidence against him, emails, texts and phone conversations. I wish someone could get their hands on the transcript of the emails and recorded phone conversations. The phone calls were recorded by the police. Now do you really think the police can get a warrant to tap someones phone with out probable cause? ppl need to wake up!

Oh one more thing, the church is a family business. I went there for years as well. Every year there was a building fund never was any money invested in the church itself. The pastor said the Tithes from the congregation were for the Pastor and his family and offering was for church bills. There were ppl who hustled thousands of dollars in the streets with fund raisers and never did the mortgage get paid off.

for 1 this is my grand father and just as wrong as he is for tlkn to this little girl she is just as wrong for messing with a 60 year old man, he did not force her to do anything..i love my grand father and idc wat anybody has to say, the parents of that 15 year old girl should beat her ass!! trust he's not the only grown man she was/is messing with!!!

Just had a run in with a "Bacon son"... nasty, angry man. Go near that "church" at 342 11th St. N. at your own risk. That guy who lives in the house there is a mean pit bull. There is no peace on those cursed church grounds.

I was just informed of this page. I know a lot about this family that they don't want anybody to know about. ( so watch what you do and say Bacon family) my advice to you is get on with your life. The best advice on here....Daddy never tried to do right by you. he have a year to get himself together! He need to be locked in a cage. IJS!

Loyal, honey -- you need to wake up. Obviously the twisted dysfunction of your family has tainted the way you look at the LAW. The girl is under-age. It doesn't matter if she's naked and sitting on his lap, HE is the adult -- it's up to HIM to say "no, i won't do this -- because it's wrong, and she's just a child". And men like this never, never, never learn. Jail time will do nothing for his behavior...and 1 year in jail will only stem the damage for a short time. If he's truly a man of God, he would do whatever (WHATEVER!) it takes to ensure he harms no one else. What would that be, you ask? I vote for castration. It's the only way to be sure, and even then -- it's not 100%.

They all became enablers. This fostered an environmental that drew child molesters! They had one minister that was sentenced to life in prison because in his past he molested a very young girl. There was another minister that traveled a 2 1/2 drive from Saint Petersburg up here to Sanford . Went to Pastor Bacon's youngest daughter Nikki Bacon's high school checked her out of school took her to a hotel room to have sex. It was said they did not follow through with the sex acts though. Strangely the Bacon's did not press charges.

Any advancement on young girls by men was always blamed on the young girl resulting in a women's meeting. In these meetings Pastor Bacon's wife would yell at the mothers and the children. "Keep your fast behind daughters out these mens faces!" Could it be some of these young girls where looking for a father figure and not "fast"? I think they should of had a mens meeting telling them if they had a sick problem they need to stay out the young girls faces!

@Beckyjean, Bacon was always in these young girls faces. They didn't go to him he came to them. He watched them grow up to be young ladies and made his move on them. He befriended them acting as he was the only one who cared and loved them by buying things for them and giving them money. Talking and testing them asking them questions he he had no business asking. #1 question are you a virgin. I am the pastor I can ask you this. So he said to his young victims. This man has molested so many children in Sanford and the church even at Maranatha. This preyed on the weak and innocent. this is truly a SHAME!

For the ones that are reading all of this saying why if everyone knew these things why didnt anyone speak up. Well ppl have..he has been investigated for fondling one of his grand daughters and raping his oldest daughter. Pastor Bacon's Wife Cynthia used to keep Captain Robena Dubose of the Seminole County Sheriff's Daughter. Robena was a struggling single parent and Cynthia would help her by keeping her daughter while she worked long hours and studied for her exams so she could advance in the Sheriffs office. Robena would not be where she is in her career had it not been for Cynthia. So when stuff like the accusations of child molestation came down it has been said she helped the Bacon's with the investigations. It has also has been said he has paid many victims off. I think maybe this time the charges actually stuck because they were filed down in Pinellas County out of reach from the help he received her in Seminole County! ANNND he messed with someone who refused to be paid off

@ truth Nikki dad allowed her to mess with older men because he was messing with young children. She was messing with a married man who attended the church with his wife.they say he fathered her son. Don't know if that is true or not. Cary M never admitted to that.They Also said it was her daddy. Just a messed up family. Please keep them in prayer. And the wife is keeping the family business going. She is the pastor in the St.Pete church now.......wow, wow, wow

Ms.bacon favorite saying. I don't wear no mask. What was you wearing knowing you were protecting your husband instead of your children. And just to think how many other children you could have saved from this monster. If you would have opened your mouth instead of worrying about the family name. I am ashame of you as a mother to allow your children to be raped, molested and abused by this man you called your husband. Who made you stay home and cook and clean. He didn't want you in the streets seeing him run around with different women and driving around in the work truck taking pics of children and hanging in the projects. @Cashunda you went around telling everybody your daddy raped you. And it was time for you to tell the truth you had the hush mouth. He said you would do anything for money and you were telling lies on him . That's what he put out in the streets. You blackmailed your own daddy to get what you wanted from him. You put your own child in harms way dejae. Was money that important to you. You let your daddy touch your child for money. This is sick. How can you protect your dad knowing he will do it again and again to your child and somebodys else. Help your dad by getting him the help he needs. I am so glad somebody finally spoke up. That young lady is a hero in book!
