Christian family values

Eliza Martinelli and her brother Nelson Quintana Jr, are the children of a pastor who made their living by teaching in their father’s Church School. The Dayspring Christian Academy is located in Chicago and has about 100 students. Martinelli is alleged to have molested several girls in the 1990s.

They said her first victim was a 15-year-old girl who she taught in the 8th grade in 1998.
Court records reveal that Martinelli read her 'sexy stories' which developed into sexual abuse that lasted until 2001.
Two years later when Martinelli was 26, she preyed on another 15-year-old girl and her brother while their parents were away.
Her third victim was a 14-year-old girl who engaged in mutual sex acts.
Assistant State’s Attorney Kathy Muldoon said Martinelli gave the victims alcohol to 'facilitate the abuse.'

Dayspring is a Baptist institution.

Dayspring Academy is a private Baptist school with students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, according to online directories. Nelson Quintana Sr. is listed as its principal. Messages left for him at the school and the church were not returned.

Bail is set at $1.5 million on four counts of criminal sexual assault.

It's been proven time and time again. Just because one's a Christian doesn't mean he/she is a morally upright person.

Outside of Catholicism, why do these things seem to happen in Baptist / Pentecostal institutions more than in Methodist, Lutheran and Presbyterian places? (I'm comparing and referring to the Protestant denominations.)

I’ve asked myself these same questions as well. The Pentecostal brand of this deluded Christian-bullshit simply attracts the most bat-shit craziest people of all of these brands of Christian-delusion. And remember most Baptists believe that women and children are second class citizens, and that they are also the property of the male head of the household, etc, etc, etc. And they all garner their “morality,” from the fairytale stories about a ghost that raped a 13 year virgin girl, who then sent a pixie to tell the girl that he had knocked her up?
