Pastor Mark Griggs arrested

I want to put this story in big bold letters. Pastor Mark Griggs of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Berea, was arrested for possession of child pornography and trading illicit images from his home computer and while at church. There are 112 counts in all. He’s allegedly been at it for two years.

A Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted the Rev. Mark Griggs, of the Cleveland suburb of Berea, on charges that include downloading and possessing child pornography. Among the images Griggs downloaded and saved were ones that depicted children being raped, investigators said.

Just so we are clear, a Christian pastor is alleged to have traded child porn that included images of children being raped. All I can say is WTF?

The pastor blames it on Limewire.

"If you're downloading files from Limewire, you don't have any control of what's coming into your computer," Milano says

Playing dumb is not a good strategy pastor Griggs, but please keep it up. If you are guilty I don’t want you to ever walk free again.

I’ve come up with another rule to help prevent clergy sexual abuse, periodic computer screening of the Staff’s computers. It should help catch those who use their computers to hunt children. Plus, a good investigator can even tell you if the pastor is attempting to hide his activities.
