Pastor Matthew Nichols, peddler of child porn and hypocrite of the highest order, was convicted after he pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges. He faces 15 to 40 years in prison.
Nichols, a former youth minister at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Las Alamos, admitted to distributing and attempting to distribute a video depicting a minor boy engaged in sexually explicit conduct with an adult male.
Several law enforcement agencies conducted the investigation that lead to Nichols arrest in late 2009. Warranted searches at the church and at Nichols’ residence recovered computers and computer-related media containing over 1000 images and over 100 videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
I’m betting he gets 15 years since he pleaded guilty. That puts him at 73 when he’s released. If he survives that long.
