My picture for yesterday was about temptation. I’ve been on a calorie restrictive diet for five months now. I avoid calorie dense foods, especially fried foods, in favor of bulkier and healthier options. The thought of dropping a thousand calories on an onion ring tower makes me feel ill. Heck, even one is too much. I figure they run between 75 to 85 calories each. Do I eat an apple or a single onion ring? Or all eight onion rings and no other food for the that meal? I watched my son consume them instead.
