These are the victories I celebrate. When a polygamist goes to prison, when his cult practices are exposed, when others see the depravity, I feel like we actually accomplished something. Religion provided the materials, man set the fire, innocent children get burned.
Raymon Jessop used his religious beliefs to justify enslaving young women via cult marriages. In most cases, the young girls are willing but brainwashed participants. Fortunately, the jury saw there the smoke and mirrors to convict Jessop in 2 hours 20 minutes. I hope he spends a long time in prison. The trial was in Texas, I think prison is a safe bet.
