I’ve had this one in the back of my mind for a while. Henry Elbert Edgington is from Waco, Texas. He was arrested in 2007 for possession of child porn, now his trail is set to start. When police searched his computer, they found hundreds of images of Emma Watson. Apparently he was a fan of the Harry Potter franchise. Edington had a dumb excuse for his collection.
Edgington told investigators that he was collecting the items for his granddaughter.
Edgington, a former part-time pastor at Elm Mott Church of Christ, resigned after his arrest in September 2008.
Sam Armstrong, the church’s pastor, said after Edgington’s arrest that he and many church members believe Edgington is a spiritual person and a wholesome family man who was trying to do what he has said — start a crusade to rid the world of Web sites with child pornography.
Yep… Edgington was just a good family man who started his crusade by taking a data bath. Because, how else would he know what porn looks like? What is the name of the porn shop on the way into Waco from Dallas? I’m sure that place could have filled his need quite nicely.
