Pastor Muench on leave

Hey, what’s a guy got to do to get a paid leave of absence? Apparently pastor Muench, a priest out of the Catholic Diocese of Lexingtion, knows the score.

The Rev. Joseph N. Muench was suspended from regular ministerial duties after an internal investigation, which was prompted by a letter the diocese received in March from a Louisville attorney representing three men who made allegations against Muench, diocese spokesman Thomas Shaughnessy said.

I think a good rule of thumb is to trust no priest who served in the 80s. I think the instances of abuse from the that time are way above normal. It must have been something in the holy water. I wonder if these guys were all part of some secret seminar fraternity?

Muench was pastor of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary parish. To parents of current and past alter boys I offer this advice, now would be good time to have “the talk” with your sons.
