The Paddling Pastor

So... the world is full of nutballs. Take Bishop Anthony Towns of Bakersfield, Ca. He likes paddle his parishioners when they are disobedient. He paddles children and adults alike, the children he paddles without permission from their parents.

"He'd spank me like a couple times, like six, and then I would get back up," said 12-year-old Jo Jo Sepulveda, describing what he said happened to him in October at the hands of Bishop Donald Anthony Towns.

"He came over to me, he read scripture to me, spanked me, read scripture and then would go," Jo Jo said in a quiet voice.

I don’t make this shit up. It just flows into my inbox.

One comment… I don’t necessarily have a problem with corporal punishment. I sure I collected a record 17 swats in the 8th grade at the corpulent hands of our Vice Principle, Mr. Johnson. He swung a mean paddle. I deserved every swat. On the other hand, if some self-righteous Christian Bishop takes in on himself to beat my child, the police better get to him first.
