My family and I visited the Seal Beach Kite festival today. It was beautiful. I put a few more shots up at my flickr account in case you are interested.
The event is known as The Seal Beach Japan American Kite Festival. It's been held every October for past 12 years. We were fortunate enough to catch the Taiko Drummers in action. You could feel the drums inside your chest. I'll post a couple of Taiko pictures next.
In case you are wondering. It was 74 degrees at the beach. Sun bathers were in abundance despite the chill.
