The Rev. Artis Caver stood silently before a judge as the former pastor of Harvest Missionary Baptist Church received a sentence of 16 years in prison.
But church members were not silence; they spoke openly in the case of the pastor who stole from the church, reported NewsChannel5.
People spoke for both sides, all referencing religious scripture. Some called for mercy, while others contended "what a man soweth," he gets.

Ah well. Maybe he's a really good Christian, and they're giving him time off for self-penitence. Or some other nonsense like that.
At least it isn't a couple of days.
