Another week, another Baptist Pedophile...
Marshal Seymour, a 40-year-old, married volunteer youth minister at the First Baptist Church at the Mall, turned himself in at the Polk County Jail late Friday night after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of sexually abusing several teenage boys he met through the church.

What is notable about this case? Seymour has done this before. In 1999, he was convicted on a battery charge which was reduced from a sodomy charge. He simply moved and started preying on other kids.
The Church offers a fertile feeding ground for men like Seymour. Once you pass the often neglected background check, youth pastors are given ample opportunity to pursue their disease. Something is broken in the Baptist church. I am not sure how to fix it.

These stories make me so sick, especially when they are given a slap on the wrist for doing something so horrible. Then everyone is so shocked when they do it again. Pathetic!
