The news headlines featured two bizarre Pastors gone wild stories today.
Corey Pritchett, a pastor in Oregon was on a roll. He's been charged with:
- Aggravated Theft (two counts – class B felony)
- Theft in the First Degree (5 counts – class C felony)
- Theft in the Second Degree (2 counts – class A misdemeanor)
- Securities Fraud (3 counts – class B felony)
- Selling an Unregistered Security (3 counts – class B felony)
- Sales of Securities by an Unregistered Person (3 counts – class B felony)
The Sandy Post offered this info about Pritchett's "Church".
Corey Pritchett and his wife, Vickie, are pastors of Northwest Deliverance Ministries, according to their website, www.northwestdeliverance.com. (down for maintenance).
It might be time to end the tax exempt status for churches like Pritchett's storefront fraud. Or, at list instill a little financial transparency. Con men like Pritchett are not men of God, they abuse the system while helping nobody but themselves.
In Tampa, Pastor David Brian Anton was arrested for possession of cocaine on the property of the Living Word Fellowship in Sulphur Springs. Anton is 70, why the hell is he doing crack?
"He was dropping items on the ground while he was doing this," Parashis said. "When he bent down to pick the items up, the officer saw a clear plastic baggie, which they believed to see rock cocaine inside."
Ironically, Anton was arrested under a law meant to keep drug users away from churches.
