When faced with the need to to stage a realistic terrorist hostage drill, Burlington Township High School chose fundamentalist Christians as the evil doers. The Christian terrorists were members of a right-wing fundamentalist group called the "New Crusaders" who are apposed to the separation of church and state.
The New Crusaders hit the school in a Columbine style coordinated massacre, which I understand is typical of Christian fundamentalist terrorist groups - as they are trained up by video games. ah... did I mention that some people are pissed about this?
The odd thing is, school officials were most likely motivated by a desire not offend Islamic community, so they chose to offend fundies instead. What were they thinking?
