Santorum - going, going, gone!

Evangelical Senator Rick Santorum is in trouble. The voters just don't like him. My main beef with Santorum is his anti-science or "sound science" stance, his support of Intelligent Design, and his views on gay rights. He's an evangelical dominionist squarely in Dobson's political cliche. That makes Santorum dangerious.
Rick Santorum has spent 12 years in the Senate -- and millions of dollars on TV ads for a third term. Yet a lot of Pennsylvania voters just plain don't like him.

Polls show Santorum's approval rating is in the 30s, just about what it was a year ago. Roughly the same number of voters view him unfavorably as favorably.

I really think people are starting to wake up and realize who these people really are. I really, really, really hope so.

I certainly hope he loses, however, I'm not one to underestimate the religious fringe. I hope there are enough people fed up with Santorum-types to go vote for reasonable and sane candidates.
