The Stick Game

J.D. Crow passed the stick to me, I hope to pass it along to other book lovers like myelf.

You're stuck inside Fahrenheit 451, which book do you want to be?:
The Grapes of Wrath

What are you currently reading?: The Craft of Research

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character? Nope, odd question.

Five books you would take to a deserted island:
Who are you going to pass this stick to (3 persons) and why?
  1. Pastor Brad: Because he reads very weird Christian stuff and talks about it incessantly.
  2. Candy Girl: Because she reads about Salt and Chocolate.
  3. sMyla: Because she’s witty and smart.

I can say without a doubt that I have read maybe two books on your list. Lord of the rings and Grapes of wrath.

Why did you choose grapes of wrath?

Mojoey - I am touched by your compliments, but I hardly think I am witty AND smart at the same time, j/k. I try to be. Anyhow, don't you know I don't have much time to read fun books??? I just added a list of books about negotiation on my blog today that I want to read AFTER graduation. Gimme some time and I might be able to play this stick game... Spring break is almost here, I can smell it!

Everybody has “the book” that got them started, for me it was Grapes of Wrath. I read crap before, and crap after, but Grapes of Wrath talked to me. I think it was because I read it in high school while discussing it with my class. At any rate, the story was compelling, the characters real and gripping, and the metaphors breathtaking. I’ve only read it once since, it’s a hard read, but I would still have to put it as the most important book I’ve ever read. It’s not my favorite, that goes to LOR.
