Prosecutors say the Rev. Michael Clare was convicted of rape on Wednesday. Under the terms of the plea deal, he will be sentenced to five years in prison and will register as a sex offender.
Source: Former NY pastor pleads guilty to raping 2 teenage girls, 1 belonged to his congregationThe congregation stood behind pastor Clare even when the DNA evidence proved that he impregnated a 15-year-old girl that he had raped since she was 12-year-old. This was typical of the comments on my original post…

Sure the allegations/accusations are ugly but in my opinion, where is the beef? I am anxious to learn how this dan evidence came into existence. I am always suspicious of the 'authorities' that be. Did they take his dan and fabricate this dna evidence from the ground up? or [sic] is there some sort of new reverse dan [sic] technology that can indict a suspect based on past remote events? or [sic] is this some sort of new psychic indictment? The dna evidence and the indictment are both highly suspect. I have done extensive research thus far and it seems that most arbortion [sic] clinics get rid of fetal remains (a bio harzard) [sic] unless the parties suggest research as an option. Another school of thought would be, its a legal requirement that arbortion [sic] clinics reserve fetal tissue samples especially when the patient is underage but even this does not hold true… as we all know that arbortion [sic] clinics always protect their subjects regardless of how pedophile they circumstances are. Frankly I am not convinced by the evidence presented by the DA's office thus far. We'll have to see what is presented in court.I find too many cases of pastor worship in these stories. When will believers understand that giving authority over your life to a man who wraps himself in religion is unwise?
*** Update 2/1/2014
