The religious right has an agenda. Every time we suffer a tragedy, we see it dusted off and rolled out, often by way of Fox News. It is a morally corrupt line of reasoning that appeals to the self-self-righious. This time the message was simple; by excluding God from our public schools we invited violence and death. I read this as, "Those kids deserved it."

It didn’t take long. First out of the crazy box was former Arkansas governor and erstwhile presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.
