Pastor Petroske… drunk and nude

At times I feel like a comedy writer, but I can't make this stuff up. 

The Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit has indefinitely suspended the pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Dearborn after he was arrested last week on suspicion of drunken driving.

According to the archdiocese, the Rev. Petroske was not wearing any clothes when he was arrested.

If it were just drunk driving, I would not pay any attention. Indecent exposure is another story. Why was he nude anyway? Who goes nude driving these days? I thought that was a 60s thing.

I have to say drink driving offends me far more than nudity, nudity hurts no one, drunk driving kills.

Nudity hurts no one? I beg to differ. Try imagining Roseanne Barr, or Opray Winfrey, or Rush Limpbaugh naked. <shudder>

I have a theory about the naked drunk priest:
A. being naked brings him closer to Jesus
B. he was out trollig for children and didn't want any obstructions
C. He traded his priest out fit for a bottle of Jack Daniels.

"Who goes nude driving these days?" Christian singer Randy Travis does, he had driven his pickup truck in Texas when arrested while nude & drunk on Tuesday.. His problems escalated when he threatened to kill a state trooper at the scene.

For both Petroske and Travis, being drunk and nude behind the wheel point to some really deep issue that each can't deal with. There is no point to this other than to say that neither has the intimate connections that each could turn to. I realize that I have no evidence, it's just my gut telling me so.
