Youth pastor Chad Foster arrested

ChadFosterYouth pastor Chad Foster was arrested for the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in his youth group. Foster allegedly had sex with the girl a dozen times.
The girl met Chad Foster, 32, last summer while he was serving as a youth pastor at the Community of Faith Church on Becker Road in Cypress. The relationship turned sexual in July when the girl visited Foster at his home, the girl told a Harris County Sheriff's deputy. Court documents show that the two communicated frequently through texts.

On the upside, when adults leaned of the abuse, they reported it to the police. On of the people the victim talked to was a pastor. Good for him.
Foster was the youth pastor at Community of Faith Church in Cypress, TX. There is no news of the arrest on the church website.

Every time a pastor is caught dipping his wick in some child in a church the church go's into deep cover operation. Nothing on the church website? At least you would think they would move to assure the members of the flock that they're children hadn't been Buggered by this Pastor-o-phile . Can't wait for the endless stream of child molester protectors to start in with the innocent until proven guilty crap as always.

Just so you know. Something like that doesn't need to publicized to the entire world on the web. However, I will have you know that an announcement was made in church to the entire congregation about the terrible incidence. Community of Faith is in no way in deep cover about it. Anyone and everyone that attends the church knows about it and also knows that the church is not trying to protect this man. They are, however, in complete cooperation with the authorities to take care of the situation.

She willingly had sex with and and even went to his house. Why is it always the guys fault. She is old enough to know better. There was no assault. If you are going to put out with an older man this is what you get.

Ok, well I know and knew chad very well when he came to Second Baptist several years ago I saw the youth program grow like crazy when he and his counterparts started making church fun for the youth and an alternative to the trash that is our there for our teenagers to become involved in. he is not a pedifile!!!!!! He is a young man whom like many men get a little crazy when around beautiful women. and yes these girls all look like act like and DRESS like women, have you been to a church youth group lately? I'm sure I''m opening up a can of worms but let's go there,he did not have self restraint and was weak and obviously so was she, she continued to go to his house alone. I don't condone either of their actions it's all sad, and yes a law that he broke! lust is a slippery slope and if you do not think we need to be very aware of what our teenagers do, say and look like your wrong. chad was a great guy with a heart for God. I know him before he was in the ministry full time and felt gods calling on his life. Yes we need strong faithful trust worthy men in ministry and we need MODEST teenage girls with a heart for God and the looks of boys. I looked up the dress code for Cy-Fair ISD it's pretty modest so what closet do these girls go into to get ready for church come on parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no girl asks to be raped, be smart be modest and don't mess with fire. I am on nobody's side but our youth that have thrown away any common sense and the parents that can't say NO to crazy fashion that belongs in a strip club. I am speaking out about this because it hits home. if she was 18 and dating a youth pastor she would be commended for going into the ministry with her boyfriend and serving it then becomes a sweet story. I know it's the law I know he did wrong. my heat breaks because my husband and I loved the growth of our youth and the Love(not lust) he had for these kids. God has already judged him i feel sorry if this girl felt like she could not break things off with him, I do it's allot of pressure for a girl to go through. Hey parents! know where your children are, know who they spend time with, know who and what they are texting and don't leave this hard life of tough decisions up to them alone let's not throw out children to the wolves and expect them to make the right decisions...they won't and now many heats are broken
