Pastor Nicholas Minerva commits suicide

Baptist pastor Nicholas William Minerva was being served with a search warrant when he ran back inside his church and shot himself in the head. Minerva has been engaged in a ongoing conversation with an undercover police officer posing as a 14-year-old girl. The chats had originally started with a real teen. Minderva is alleged to have shown his willy to the undercover officer among other unsavory actions.

The chats, that were with a teen and then unknowingly with detectives after police had been alerted, had been going on since last July.
Authorites say he had 'inappropriate conversations' with the 'girl' and once showed his genitalia via a webcam.

That’s a hell of a way to go out. He had a wife and four children. It’s all so sad.

Minerva was the pastor at Trinity Baptist Fellowship church.

I can't even fathom the pain this must be causing. Check out this picture: http://trinitybaptistfellowshipchurch.org/6.html (Who can guess how long it'll stay up, though.) And then there's what the congregation's going through. I'm always wishing Christians would wake up and see what a farce their religion is, but I sure don't want it to happen this way.

What's up with pastors and priests committing suicide? Isn't suicide like a major sin in Christianity? Not that molestation isn't.

Do you remember back when the evangelical leaders were barking about replacing the U.S. Constitution with “god’s laws” in the bible? Back in the mid 1980s, after a “man of god,” was accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old girl, and impregnating her, his peers used the O.T. in the bible in defending him, and saying: “back in the bible days, a girl’s first ovulation often resulted in pregnancy.”

Make no mistake about it, the bible is riddled with the stories of old men having sex with young children, after taking them as their wives – in the bible, a good woman has about the same value as a good ass or ox does, and she has about the same rights as well.

Let's also remember the same kind of crap is supported by Muslims. Didn't Mohamed at age 59 marry a 9 year old girl ? Both the bible and the Koran are full of such crap ! They are both like How to manuals for raping children !

Good point; I believe he actually, at age 59, married a 5 or 6 year old girl, and then he consecrated the marriage when the girl was 9 years old – either way, he was a sick pervert – other historical documents from that same time, suggest that type of sick-shit was very common among the OT based religions, of which there were many more sick and deluded religions besides islam and christianity, and all based on the OT. A pack of baby-raping fucking perverts!

Unfortunately, or fortunately, I don't remember that but I am not at all surprised. I think people use the bible to justify any act, good or bad.

The bible is full of child sex like Gods own chosen LOT having drunken sex with his daughter not once ,but twice just days after his wife's untimely demises . Also see Temple whores ,Male Temple whores, Horse Cocked boyfriends,and References to oral sex ! The bible should be sold in book store back rooms in a brown paper wrapping !
