Police stopped former youth pastor Paul Lisowski from killing himself back when he was arrested only to see him become a tax burden with his conviction for lewd and lascivious battery on a child between the ages of 12 and 15. He’ll serve 10 years.
After his initial arrest, he was re-arrested for his continued online contact with the victim. Just prior to his arrest, as deputies closed in, Lisowski locked himself in his vehicle and stabbed himself in the neck multiple times.
He was taken to jail after his release from the hospital.
In addition to the prison term, Lisowski faces 60 months of sex offender probation upon his release. He had faced as much as 20 years in prison.
If he survives prison, I’m betting we see him re-offend.

Lisowski was a youth pastor at Christ Community Church.
