Pastor Paul Johnson arrested

PaulJohnsonJust when I think these stories cannot get any worse, they do. Pastor Paul Burk Johnson of Calvary Baptist Church in Dunn, N.C., was arrested on sexual batter charges. The alleged victim is a 64-year-old woman living in a nursing home because she has diminished mental capacity. Johnson is 74.
Benson police reported that Johnson, a minister who visits patients at a Benson nursing home, had several encounters with a 64-year-old woman who has a diminished mental capacity.
According to a statement released by Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a nurse at the facility noticed Johnson engaged in "inappropriate conduct" toward a resident in the facility.
Johnson is also a member of the board of ministers at Campbell University Divinity School.
I don’t know what to say here. This is just wrong. But I’ll ask the obvious question. If a lifelong pastor can stoop to a crime this repugnant, where is the moral advantage in Christianity?

People use it as window dressing. It used to be it made you look good. Now it just makes people look stupid. A lot of people have yet to catch on.

Being a true Christian means believeing and trying to follow Jesus Christ...As a Christian myself, I could give a hill of beans on what any other human thinks...I only care about what my Heavenly Father thinks. Unfortunately, there are those that claim to be Christians who seem to forget that if you believe in God, He is all knowing and you can't hide your sinful nature, you will be exposed either now or in the future. By the way, in order for your readers to follow your comments and take you seriously, perhaps you should try proof reading before posting...The pastor's name is Paul Burk Johnson, he lives in Dunn NC.. As for Renshia...if one wishes to say that someone else's beliefs make them look stupid, reread your comment, I could certainly argue the point that some non believers appear to be very stupid in their short sighted views

I am 47 years old ,and have never met a true Christian ! O a lot of self deluded ,pompous ass monkeys who make the claim,but never one that actually followed teachings or the words of JC . Hey SBJ, you seem to know so much about the Scientologists, why don't you "go hang" with them...by the way, I didn't attack anyone, I pointed out that the blog, which I noticed has been corrected and stated my opinion as Renshia did. Not sure how I got grouped into Scientology to begin with. Oh and HUMP, thanks for pointing out my typo, I'm glad to know that a misspelled word makes me dismissed as a "superstionalist 1/2 wit." You know the comments are really funny to me...I do use my brain and I try to explain to others that claim to be Christians that to follow Jesus Christ, we are to be like him and love everyone. Also SBJ, I use my brain to study more than just the Bible, to try to stop the thinking that being gay is not by choice but by birth, that God created each individual equally and loves all of His creations, black, white, gay, straight and every other creation.
