This pastor is a opportunistic jerk. He stole money from homeless hurricane Katrina victims. What kind of a person would do that? At least we know what Pastor Martin A. Denesse, a.k.a. “the Toad”, will be doing for the next 15 years.
Denesse has admitted to stealing $363,000 from nearly 200 hurricane victims after promising to supply them with mobile homes because their homes were destroyed in the storm. He will be ordered to serve five years probation and has provided the court with $22,000 cash and $225,000 in property. Denesse will be required to provide the court with $1,000 per month until he makes full restitution.
I love this concept of restitution. It works.
