Youth Pastor Jennifer Brennan convicted

Youth Pastor Jennifer Michelle Brennan faces 16 years in prison after being convicted of having sex with a teenage boy.

Brennan entered Alford pleas to the charges, meaning that while she doesn't admit guilt, she acknowledges that the evidence is sufficient for convictions.

In exchange for Brennan's pleas, prosecutor Eric Olsen dropped 17 related charges.

According to the evidence presented by Olsen, Brennan was the youth minister at St. Matthias United Methodist Church on Deacon Road when the incidents began in January of last year.

We don’t often see female offenders here on Hypocrisy Watch, but in the secular world we see this happen with teachers a few times a year. Just remember, being a Christian does not offer you any special defense against abusing children.

Sounds like a really exciting plot for a blue movie, except perhaps thay should employ adults. It does increasingly seem that to obtain work in the clerical field, one must exhibit a lust for under 18's. It also seems that there must be plenty of potential priests with this affliction who apart from chasing kids to rape, are keen to live a totally unproductive life doing nothing, except selling the misery to people who don't need it or want it.
