It’s the little stories of Christian hypocrisy that are the most fun to read. Like when pastor Buford Leslie Albritton of New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ pulled a knife on a nurse.
Buford Leslie Albritton, 52, 136 Todd Carter Road, Columbia, was arrested and charged Wednesday with aggravated assault and simple assault. He was released from custody after posting $6,000 bond.
Arrest warrants state Albritton pulled a pocket knife on emergency room nurse Linda Higdon while he was being treated at the hospital Aug. 12. He also allegedly assaulted a man while inside the hospital. The warrants did not state why Albritton was at the hospital.
This story will drop from the local paper in a few months. It is one of the reasons I write these little posts. My post will stay up for years.

This man owns/operates "The Climate Doctor" whom I contracted with for installation of a new geo-thermal hvac system. "I am an EXPERT in geothermal," Albritton said as he demolished my existing system which he then took and hooked up at his church promising to credit my account for the value. The system required 5 deep wells to be drilled and Albritton sub-contracted with a driller for the work - The drillers were in and out with a good job done within a week, while Albritton and his droogies messed about for 2 weeks and STILL the system would not work.
Finally, Albritton and I had a parting of ways after paying him $30K. Replacement contractors checked the work and couldn't believe what they saw: Many extra unneccesary (but valuable) supplies in boxes ready to be returned for refund; My hvac system is not large enough to adequately heat/cool my house; There is a thermostat as part of a dual-zone system which he bragged about which is not connected to anything; Many wires protruding from holes in ceiling, walls, and some of them were electrically live! Worst of all was that the cost of the sub-contracted drilling (which was "paid" from the 30K as a line item on my receipt from Climate Doctor) was never paid! I tried to contact Albritton several times and when I actually did he told me that I was just going to have to pay the sub-contractor. Ultimately, I did pay $16K to the driller after a lien was placed on my house. . . I was unable to convince a lawyer to pursue legal recourse as he had dealt with Albritton in the past and told me that "He is slippery as a snake. . . you will never be able to get that money back" and that it was senseless to throw good money in after bad.
So, there is my story - PLEASE! Do not do business with this man as Climate Doctor or any of his other companies and aliases. He is known by Les Albritton, Buford Leslie Albritton, Bufford Albritton, and Lester L Albritton. Despite his claims, he is not licensed, certified or registered as a contractor of any kind in the state of Tennessee (his license was revoked after multiple complaints). He is a crook, a liar, a fraud. Oh, don't forget Preacher!
Truly, here is a man who claims to be a Christian and even leads his own church - yet he does not seem to care about behaving like Christ did or as his ministry suggested!
