I took this yesterday at a flea market. The twin tattoos on her legs caught my attention. My initial read was “train wreck”. As in, if you look to close you’ll end up wishing you were in a train wreck. I’ll never know, she went left, and I went right. I never did get a good look at her.
I found a interesting tattoo related site surfing on Reddit. Hanzi Smatter – dedicated to the misuse of Chinese characters in western culture. The author’s been translating Chinese characters on tattoos for a few years. It’s hard not to laugh out loud reading his comments. I know so many people with the Chinese character for Power or Wisdom inked on their bodies. I can’t wait to pass this on.
