Pastor Laneer Fisher arrested

Rev. Dr. Laneer Fisher was arrested for allegedly molesting two boys from his church. The molestations took place a few years ago.

A criminal complaint filed by Aliquippa police said officers were contacted in June by a couple and their son, now 17, who said the incidents with Fisher began two years ago.

The teen accused Fisher of touching his arms and neck, caressing his chest, kissing him and having him sit on his lap, the complaint states.

The other young man, now in his 20s, filed a complaint with Beaver Falls police about incidents that he said occurred eight to 10 years ago at the Aliquippa church, Goodwald said.

Fisher is the pastor at Miracle Church of God in Christ. I sent an email asking for Pastor Fisher’s side of the story. I hope he provides a press release or comments.

I never fully trust complaints that don't surface until several years have passed since it happened. The 17 year old has probably given a fairly accurate account of what happened.

I can't trust someones account of an event that happened 8-10 years before when they were somewhere between the ages of 10-19. I would need to know if this was the first of the two accounts put forward or if it only surfaced after the 17 year old came forward.

He's not going to reply to your email, he knows he is guilty and he is embarrassed! My mother attends his church and he basically put a gag order on the church and himself. He has not told them whether he is guilty or innocent just keeps asking them to pray for him ...Not pray for the kids he ruined pray for him! I saw him coming out of a gay bar in downtown Pittsburgh right before he was appointed minister at the church and I tried to tell my mother and her church crew he wasnt right but they didnt listen.

pastors are always trying to use their influence on young boys. i THINK it is the signs of the times. if pastors have so many gifts to give young boys, why don't they work on the church and fix up the place, the church is leaking. now he sitting in court looking like daffy duck. remember the pastor has a daughter and how do you think he will feel if a woman attack her it don't sound good does it. co-founder you are a mess.

God is forgiving yes, but his leadership days, should be over. If this is his struggle let it be his struggle alone. How selfish this is to drag down an entire church community , with this scandal. Sit yourself down Preacher. This is not the mission of the founding Pastor, who has gone on to be with the Lord. How can you be effective, with the people wondering........
