Bribe them to attend

If attendance is down at church offer a $20 gas card to pack the pews. Or not…

It sounded enticing, but interest in a free gas giveaway at a Peterborough, Ont., church Sunday was nearly running on empty.

Christian Victory Church was offering $20 gift cards for gasoline to the first 50 visitors at its Sunday morning service who weren't already part of the congregation.

D’oh – that church must suck.

Twenty dollars? Nowadays, that'd be about enough to get you to church and back home again. Insofar as I sure wouldn't be going because I wanted to hear the Gospel, what exactly would I be getting out of this little jaunt?
I think I'll hold out for the hot Christian girls willing to trade sexual favors for my attendance at their church. Hey, we all have a price, right?

I'm ashamed to confess that, in my teenage years, despite my atheism, whenever I was sans a girlfriend I went to church because that was the easiest place to get laid.
Hey, there’s no shame in my game – then or now. I was “blessed” to live by a church that had a little store next door to it. On Sundays, at the mid-break in the service; all the girls would go to the store and buy candy and other stuff. I simply hung out at the store, and if I didn’t leave with a cute one; the big fat Twinkie eating ones, were always good to go.

In my teen years; I went through Christian-ass, like Grant rode through Virginia!

LMAO! Nice!
this reminds of what my local church does to raise money. They host an annual event where, for a fee, you could win up to $100. Yup, there are moneychangers in the house of the father. way to go christies.
