My wife knows how to get me out of the house. She says, “Grab your camera. Let’s go take some pictures of birds.” I always go.
I did I survey at my local duck pond looking for exotics. Unfortunately, the birds were are locals. I spotted the normal king’s of the pond, our Chinese Swan Goose flock. They own the pond. Every other duck keeps its distance. Besides these, there were the normal mallards and coots, mixed with a couple of immature cormorants and domestic ducks. I’m sure I”ll have better luck as spring approaches.
