Pastor Emmanuel William on trial for rape

I don’t normally post Hypocrisy Watch stories from other countries, but now that we have a map it seems like the right thing to do.

Pastor Emmanuel William is on trial for raping a 25-year-old woman. He claimed to be casting out demons.

Pastor William was said to have asked the victim to come for deliverance in his house and added that Beatrice should come with a bottle of holy oil since the prayer and deliverance would take place at night. According to Beatrice, on getting to Pastor William’s house, he started praying for her and pretended to be casting out demons from her. In the process, he poured ‘holy oil’ into her vagina and forcefully had sex with her.

I wonder if our Christian missionaries taught this practice?

Perhaps he took it from Giovanni Boccaccio's Decameron, which has a story of sexual shenanigans between a holy hermit and a young woman who spend time together putting "The Devil" in his crotch back into "Hell" in her crotch on a regular basis.

I remember the Boccaccio story as an amusing romp, but this news story leaves me sickened and saddened for the unfortunate young woman.

I see this as strange from a few points. Why didn't she question the lateness of the action and why was it going to be at his home? How can any guy be so sure of their position that they think that this is the right thing to do? I wonder if he has done this before and this girl is just the first to come forward. It sounds like he had this some what planned out and wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't the first he had done this to.
