The words of a fool

Pastor Randy Meadows is a fool for allowing a registered sex offender the chance to become a ordained minister. You can watch the foolishness here.

Mark Hourigan sodomized and sexually abused an 11-year-old boy. City of Refuge Church is taking a huge risk by allowing him on the property, but to employee him is insanity. If Hourigan wants to serve, let him work in a soup kitchen. Pastor Meadows thinks he’s doing Gods work. When Hourigan abuses again, I sure hope he is held accountable.

Hourigan served time in prison and upon release agreed not to have contact with children as a condition of probation. Now Hourigan’s probation is over, though his need to register as a sex offender never ends. According to a former church deacon, Hourigan was never open about his past until he was confronted.

Nevertheless, Pastor Randy Meadows claims Hourigan has changed and deserves forgiveness.
“As a society we can’t forget,“ said Pastor Randy Meadows. “ We can’t move on. And I preach in this church to try to allow god to move you on to a better life.“ Meadows said the Lord has touched Hourigan’s heart.

By the way, all of this is based on one and a half years of good behavior. Besides… Hourigan completed sex offender training, so that makes him safe.

You know as well as anyone else that should anything go wrong, those that have allowed him to get into the position will not be held responsible. I wonder what the parents of children think of this? Have all the parents been informed of his history and that it has been shown a child molester allowed to be around children tend to repeat their offenses.

About 5 or so years ago we were hearing about the Catholic church, and their hands on ministries. I really can't say that today's "Anointed" ministers are that. I think forgiveness is key but then again rational thinking needs to come into play here; did he really need to become ordained?

Any parent who allows their kid to attend that church are idiots. THEY will have no one to blame but themselves when this guy reverts back to what pedophiles always revert back to.

I can hear them now: "Well the pastor said he was cured."
But, what do you expect from mindless sheep who believe in sky beings. They lack the ability to use judgement and discern reality from fantasy in their own lives, why should they be any different when it comes to the well being of their kids? Afterall, a "man of God" told em it was ok.
