Pastor touches child

260xStory The news is full of pastors who run amok this week. Take the latest news. Pastor Darrell Dunn faces charges that he molested two 14-year-old students at his church, Crosby church and school.

Darrell Dunn has been charged with indecency with a child by touching, a second-degree felony, and online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony, said Harris County Assistant District Attorney Eric Devlin.

Devlin said there may be other victims, and a search warrant for Dunn’s computer and other records was carried out during the arrest.

I am sure there will be more to this story. He’s an older pastor with a long history. From what I’ve learned, these guys tend to start young.

Yeah, I want to hear more. I know that camping out on this blog might lead one to suspect all pastors are perverts, but I spent enough years as a Christian to know that pedophiles are actually far and away the exceptions. I want the bad guys prosecuted, but I don't want anyone prosecuted wrongly. "Touching" seems a little tepid to me. What does it mean? Does it mean he accidentally put his hand somewhere that he would ordinarily shudder even to think about? Was the story made up to ruin his life? I want to know more.

Oh, it's full on molestation of two children. Touching is just a nice way of saying he abused the kids.

I agree. If he did it intentionally, I don't care even if it was just a "touch." It's still molestation
