I found this today while surfing. The poor guys does not like the fact that people associate clergy sexual abuse with Catholics.
“Is puzzlement,” said the King of Siam. If a coach/teacher abuses a student, to the best of my knowledge, the Board of Education or the particular school is not attacked. Is puzzlement. If a Protestant clergy person abuses someone, the particular denomination is not attacked. Is puzzlement. If a scoutmaster abuses a scout, the Boy Scouts of America are not attacked. Is puzzlement.
So, when a Catholic priest is accused of abuse, why is the Church and its hierarchy attacked? Revenge is not justice. It is inflicting retribution on behalf of someone else. Ignorance is not malice. It is lack of knowledge of basic procedures. SNAP might also be translated as Swiftly Neuter Accused Priests. Neuter defined as render ineffective. Is puzzlement!

When a teacher abuses a kid...the board of ed doesn't cover it up and send the teacher to molest in another school.
When a scout master molests a kid, the BSA doesn't bury it under the rug and reassign the offender to another pack.
But when a priest molests, they do so for years, in many diffferent parishes, the facts are hidden, covered up, buried by the church heirarchy...or haven't you heard???? It's been going on for decades...perhaps centuries. It's INSTITUTIONALIZED SEXUAL ABUSE.
Now... STILL "IS PUZZLEMENT" , reverend?
I cant tell if the "reverend" is pretending to be stupid, or genuinely mentally imparied. It's hard to tell with theists.
